Taking Lecture Notes very IMPORTANT

As students, taking notes is must to do because for sure we will lose 80% after we hear and see without recall it refer from notes that we had taken. Taking notes allow us to make question more about how that happen to generate about understanding from a topic. It very useful especially when exam or test is just around the corner because we have got the important points that have been combine in the notes .Other benefits by taking notes are:

• To pay more attention in class and avoid us to feel sleepy
• To focus on the main point when study for exam,test or quiz
• Improve our memory to keep remember the topic
• we can get the real information from lecture that may not be the same as on internet
• we can train ourselves to be more active while listening and can catch up with every information faster
• all of the information can be well organize and classified according to the own topic
• we will read it repeatly until we can surely understand it because notes providess us with repetition

Effective Note Taking System

1. Cornell Note Method

Cornell notes method is three column that divided into notes,cue and summary.

        

         2. Two Column Method

This method require two column with left column for terms to define and questions to answer while right column is for notes about the terms and answers to the questions

          3. Outlining Method

Outlining is popular among students that like to writing because it require to seperate top topic to minor points and need to faster with many idea

         4. Mapping Method

For mapping, it can be done by many ways such as in form of bubble or tree and its very easy to edit with very popular among visual learning style students.

           5. Sentence Method

This method is a simple sentences that must not more than five words. Its include with only essential and important information  that have a completely cover a topic
